Michelle Lauto is an award winning New York based actor, singer, director, and educator. Michelle grew up in the Jersey suburbs of NY before moving to Chicago in 2012 to study her love of comedy. Michelle is a 2014 graduate of The Second City Training Center's Conservatory program. Since graduating, Michelle has worked at several prominent regional theaters, including appearing in the Original Chicago Cast of Spamilton: An American Parody for which she won a 2017 Jeff Award for Best Actress in a Revue. She has appeared in commercials and on television and is a proud member of both Actor’s Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. Michelle is represented by Stewart Talent. Michelle also enjoys working as a teaching artist and sharing her love of musical theatre with the next generation. She has taught at highly acclaimed theaters including the Goodman. She offers audition coaching services for performers of all ages, with a specialization in youth coaching. She loves cooking, traveling, crafting, and her sweet but insane pup, Otto.
